Chelsea Community Fair: unique fundraising opportunity at ice cream parlor

If your group acts quickly, there is a unique fundraising opportunity for two groups of six people each who would like to make a little money for a cause.

The Chelsea Community Fair ice cream parlor has two shifts available — one on Wednesday, Aug. 21 from noon-5 p.m. and one on Thursday, Aug. 22 also from noon-5 p.m.

The members of your group must be 14 years or older and six are needed for each shift.

It’s a great way to see lots of your friends and make money for your cause, community group, sports team, music group, etc. at the same time.

You’ll have a chance to scoop chocolate, vanilla, strawberry, mint chocolate chip, butter pecan and Moose tracks flavors for fair-goers. Or, if you’d like to make milkshakes, you can learn how to do that as well.

No experience is necessary.

If you and five other folks want to work the two available shifts, please call Neil Horning at 734-320-5004.
