Applications for the Chelsea Community Hospital Auxiliary scholarships are now available.
Five $1,000 scholarships are awarded annually to students accepted into programs related to health care such as Licensed Practical Nurse, Medical Doctor, Nurse, Occupational Therapist, Pharmacist, Physical Therapist, Physicians’ Assistant and Radiologist.
Applicants must be a resident of Chelsea Community Hospital’s primary service area: Chelsea, Dexter, Grass Lake, Gregory, Manchester, Pinckney or Stockbridge.
Applications can be picked up at Chelsea Community Hospital’s Volunteer office, located in the lower level of the hospital, at the information desk in the lobby at the main entrance or can be obtained by calling the volunteers’ office at 593-5793.
The completed application must be returned to the office or information desk by April 28.
Applicant interviews, which are required, will be scheduled for Friday, May 9.
