Chelsea Community Kitchen expert series: The Brinery

brinery_logo_5_.17f84f7.1The Chelsea Community Kitchen will present its ‘Expert Series: The Brinery’ on Thursday, April 11 at 114 North Main, Suite 2 from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m.

David Klingenberger, owner of The Brinery will lead this expert workshop focusing on the benefits of live lacto-fermentation as well as give instruction on how to make your own fermented food products, according to information about the event.

The Brinery specializes in all natural brine fermented vegetables such as sauerkraut, kimchi and pickles.

There will be samples of all The Brinery products and participants will leave with a greater understanding of the process and some recipes to try at home. CCK-logo-small

Raw lacto fermented foods are rich in lactobacteria, similar to yogurt, and have many health benefits such as aiding digestion and boosting the immune system, the information states.
