Chelsea Community Kitchen offering spice up your rice class on March 21

CCK-logo-smallThe Chelsea Community Kitchen plans “Spice Up Your Rice!” as part of its healthy cooking classes on March 21 at the Faith in Action building, 603 South Main from 6-8 p.m.

Led by Nia Aguirre, NHT, NHP, learn about common spices and herbs, which add variety to rice entrees and provide health benefits as well, according to event information.

Come with your appetite as a salad will also be served.

The class is free, but donations always accepted.

According to CCK’s Website, “Chelsea Community Kitchen: Connecting food entrepreneurs, educators and local food enthusiasts with kitchens they can rent; providing education and counseling support for people who want to start or grow a food-based business using local ingredients; educating consumers about eating local and healthy.”
