Bruce Szcodronski passed away at his home on Saturday, July 29, 2017.
The former general manager of the Chelsea Comfort Inn and Village Conference Center was a long-time Chelsea Area Chamber of Commerce supporter.
Szcodronzki served on the chamber Board of Directors from 2011 – 2016. He was the vice president of the chamber in 2011, 2015 and 2016 and served as its president from 2012-2014.
In a message from the chamber to its members on Monday, “Bruce was integral to the operations and service the chamber provided to the City of Chelsea. He will be greatly missed.”
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, Aug. 3 at 11 a.m. at Staffan-Mitchell Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, from 5-7 p.m. and Thursday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.
