(Chelsea Update would like to thank D & B Strategic Marketing for the information in this story.)
With a heavy heart, we announce the cancellation of the 2020 Chelsea Education Foundation Fundraising Gala.
The gala is a time when we celebrate our students and schools and give thanks to our many donors and volunteers, recognizing their contributions to strengthen our community.
Initially, the board had hoped to reschedule the event; however, we now feel the cancellation is the right thing to do. It ensures we are following Michigan’s state of emergency response to the coronavirus.
With the public health crisis, the needs of the Chelsea School District (CSD) will likely increase. We are diligently working with CSD administrators to understand their needs so that we can continue enhancing CSD experiences by financing projects beyond the district’s resources.

CEF will be contacting sponsors and ticket holders over the next couple of weeks.
