The Chelsea Farmers Markets are looking for volunteers to assist with the new operations of the markets due to the Covid 19 restrictions and online ordering and pick up procedures.
There are two markets, one on Saturday at Palmer Commons and one on Wednesday in the Chelsea State Bank parking lot.
In a recent market newsletter, Manager Emily Griswold included this:
We are looking for more volunteers to assist with greeting customers at pick up and for assembling orders.
All volunteer staff are expected to follow our safety protocols, which involve health screening, wearing a mask, hand washing, and social distancing as much as possible.
We are also looking for paper bag donations. Know that all bags that we receive will be quarantined 3-5 days before use.
