(Chelsea Update would like to thank Susan Gartner for the photos and information in this story. And yes, that it she with items Gartner found on Friday.)
The Chelsea First United Methodist Church will hold its second day of sales today, Saturday, July 27, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Proceeds will benefit the church’s mission initiatives in this community and around the world. Some of the proceeds will also benefit the library.
Items for sale include clothing, shoes, books, CDs and VHS tapes. All items that were $1.00 on Friday will be $.50 today. Winter coats, furniture, tools and household goods that range in price from $5 to $100 will also be 50% off.
Pictured are some of Friday’s treasures. And, that’s me with two fabulous finds for just a buck each — a sweet Gap skirt and a stained-glass vase.
Arrive early for the best picks.
