The Chelsea First United Methodist Church is hosting its third annual free community Halloween party on Wednesday, Oct. 31 from 5-6 p.m.
Last year, more than 250 children and parents took a short break from trick-or-treating to enjoy free food, crafts and activities at the church.
The community is invited to stop by the church for hotdogs, chips, cocoa and coffee. Plus, children can also visit the strobe-light room and the “haunted” (but not-so-scary) room.
The party will be a great place to grab a quick bite to eat before heading out to trick-or-treat during the city’s new time from 5:30-7:30 p.m.
The church is located at 128 Park St., across from the Purple Rose Theater.
