The Chelsea freshmen football team began the season with a 32-28 win over Jackson County Western on Aug. 23.
Ben Strzyzewski caught a touchdown pass from Cole Munson. Munson also had two long rushing touchdowns.
Diego Medel scored on a 1-yard TD run. Nolan Sinkwitts scored on a 30-yard interception return.
On defense, Brandon Snyder, Trevor Vosters, and Chandler Cox played really strong games for Chelsea.
“We were sloppy with turnovers and penalties, but the kids hung in there and played hard. We will keep getting better. I look forward to seeing the growth this week.”
