The Chelsea freshman football team won at Jackson by a score of 35-6 Thursday night.
Chelsea recovered a fumble on the opening kick-off and scored on the next play with a 5-yard run from Cole Munson.
After another Jackson fumble on the second possession Lucas Dunn hit Nick Fisk for a 12-yard TD pass.
Trevor Vosters had a 1-yard TD run in the first half, and Cole Munson closed the scoring in the first half with a 6-yard TD run. Chelsea led 28-6 at the half.
The only scoring in the second half came when Dunn connected with Ethan Lyles for a 5-yard score.
Trevor Vosters, Jayden Woody, Chandler Cox, and Nolan Sinkwitts all played outstanding games for the Bulldog defense.
“Jackson is a very talented team,” said coach Dennis Strzyzewski, who added. “They lost a lot of turnovers that kind made the game get out of hand. Our guys did a good job of taking advantage and making enough plays to score some points.”
