Chelsea Freshman Football Tops Northville, 20-19

(Chelsea Update would like to thank Dennis Strzyzewski for the information in this story.)

The Chelsea freshman football team won a hard-fought game against Northville on Thursday.

The Bulldogs fell behind 13-0 and had 5 turnovers in the game, but they kept battling to take a 20-19 lead with two minutes to go and held on with a great goal-line stand to finish the game.

Gibson Ichesko had two rushing touchdowns and caught a short touchdown pass.

Landon Connelly caught 6 passes in the game.

Quentin Carradine, Kayden Davidson, Ethan Fody, and Cooper Adams all had huge games for the Bulldogs.

“This was a good win. The kids learned that you just keep playing. Things are not always going to go the way we want, but if they just keep competing good things will happen.”
