The Chelsea freshman football team lost its opening game to Dexter by a score of 38-14.
Chelsea trailed 16-0 at the half.
Jason Skoczylas ran for over a hundred yards and threw a touchdown pass to Hunter Sciackitano.
Will Wilhelm also scored on a one-yard run.
Lucas Dawson led the way playing really well on the offensive and defensive lines.
“We were a little bit overmatched, but there are certainly some things we can clean up to be more competitive,” said coach Dennis Strzyzewski. “The kids are working hard. We will get better.”
