On Thursday, June 3, the Chelsea Boys Golf Team won the regional championship at Tecumseh Golf Club in Tecumseh.
They picked up the win with a team score of 321. In addition, other teams headed to the state finals are Trenton with a score of 342 and Tecumseh with a score of 344.
Out of 77 players, all of the Chelsea golfers finished in the Top 10 for Individual Low Scores:
Reed Murray (junior) 77 – 2nd place
Jace DeRosia (junior) 78 – 3rd place
Carter DeRosia (senior) 83 – tied for 6th place
Ethan Lyles (junior) 83 – tied for 6th place
Jack Murray (freshman) 85 – tied for 8th place
The team heads to the division 2 State Finals at Bedford Valley Golf Club in Battle Creek June 11-12.
