Chelsea Kiwanis Club Gourmet Nut Sale Continues

(Chelsea Update would like to thank Bob Milbrodt for the information in this story.)

The Chelsea Kiwanis Club’s Gourmet Nuts and Delicious Delights Sale continues. A 36-ounce can of 5 different tree nuts, or a tin of delicious nuts and raisins are $25 each.

Order from any Kiwanian, from our Facebook page www.facebook.com/kiwanisclubofchelsea or by clicking on the Kiwanis banner ad on Chelsea Update.

Last week, club members heard from Don Redding from Chelsea First United Methodist Church.

He participates in the church’s Parables Worship service. It is an all-abilities inclusion worship, especially for families with members with special needs.

Parables is a “no shushing zone” with members participating with therapy dogs, fidgets, Spirit scarves for movement, sensory headphones, and visual schedule board. It sometimes feels like “sacred chaos” – where the gifts of all God’s people are celebrated.

It’s an opportunity for families to be comfortable in worship, free of judgment. All are welcome to attend Sunday morning from 11 a.m. to noon, with a social hour after the service.
