Chelsea Kiwanis to hear from Chelsea area Girl Scouts

(Chelsea Update would like to thank Bob Milbrodt for the information in this story.)

Chelsea Kiwanis is selling cans of delicious mixed nuts as a fundraiser for the club. Each can contains almonds, cashews, pecans, brazil nuts, and pistachios. They are roasted and seasoned with sea salt, and include no peanuts.

The price for 36 ounces, (2 lbs. 4 oz.) is $20. Profits from each sale enables the club to improve the service it provides to folks in Chelsea, especially for programs that benefit children.

Monday, we will host a celebration of the service the Girl Scouts do in Chelsea. Chelsea Kiwanis supports the local Girl Scout Troops and looks forward to hearing about recent and future activities.

Chelsea Kiwanis meets each Monday at 6:15 p.m. in the St. Joseph Mercy Chelsea Hospital cafeteria, and the speakers begin at about 6:45 p.m.

Everyone is invited to the club’s meetings to enjoy our speakers and learn about Kiwanis.
