The Chelsea Police Department has been notified by at least one resident who said she received a text message stating that her debit card was deactivated.
She was advised to call “The Community Driven Credit Union 734-714-2163”.
This is a scam, police say.
Police remind residents to communicate with your bank in person or with a confirmed bank employee.
