Due to the expected extreme low temperatures, until Thursday at 11 a.m., the Chelsea Police Department will open its lobby and council chambers area as a warming center.
The area will be open 24 hours with no specific hours of operation for anyone who resides in Chelsea.
People are cautioned about spending prolonged periods of time outside.
