A 34-year-old Chelsea resident was arrested on Wednesday, Nov. 20 for leaving the scene of an accident and driving while intoxicated in Webster Township.
Dexter deputies responded to a “property damage crash” at Dexter Pinckney and Island Lake roads, which led to the arrest, according to a Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Office report.
One of the vehicles involved in the crash fled the scene heading northbound on Dexter-Pinckney Road, and deputies located the unoccupied vehicle near Wylie Road.
The driver of the vehicle was found nearby, and subsequently arrested.
