Chelsea residents complete ‘The Longest Run of their Life’

Last weekend, about a dozen Chelsea runners ages 7 years to adult,  attempted the “Longest Run of Their Life.”

With the cancellation of this spring’s high school track season due to  Covid 19, a number of Chelsea athletes decided to use this last weekend to complete the run. And one used it as a fundraiser for Faith in Action.

They spent the last two months training on their own, and many were successful. Not a group run, they completed different distances, paces, and start times to achieve their goal.

Epic Races donated some prizes, and the weather was ideal.

The following athletes completed the run:

  • Marie Swager (age 7) 6 miles
  • Gabe Muckle: 13.1 miles
  • Hoyt Swager (age 10) 13.1 miles
  • Karl Swager (age 11) 21.5 miles
