The Chelsea Board of Education will be dealing with numbers in the early going of its meeting Monday night.
They will hear an audit presentation from Dave Fischer of Rehmann Robson, the school district’s auditor, and a presentation on the first amendments for the 2013-14 budget from Teresa Zigman, executive director of business and operations.
The board is also expected to vote on both the amended preliminary general fund budget for FY 2014, and the amended preliminary special funds budget.
Up for discussion will be the dissolution of Chelsea Recreation and enrollment exceptions. The Chelsea Recreation Board has decided to dissolve and recreation programs will be begin being offered by Community Education beginning in January, 2014.
The board meets at the Washington Street Education Center board room beginning at 6:30 p.m.
