For the first time in many years, the Chelsea Area Senior Center hosted a special holiday bazaar Tuesday showcasing members’ varied talents.

There were about 10 vendors selling everything from dolls to stained glass.

“It’s a fun event where members can share their hobbies, skills and talents,” said Trinh Pifer, director of the center.

Shoppers scooped up scarves, cards, teddy bears, stained glass, quilts, hats and other items.

“We have so many talented people here,” said Kay Heller, “This is a chance for them to show what they’ve made.”

And, it gave some shoppers a jump on their Christmas list.

Quilts, stained glass and painted wood were among the items for sale.
