The 7th Annual Chelsea Spring Expo takes place Saturday, April 13 from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. with more than 130 vendors expected, plus goodies, and activities for all ages.

The expo takes place at the Washington Street Education Center and there will be information, samples, products for sale, free goodie bags and door prizes.

Don’t miss the ultimate homemade bake sale presented by the Chelsea Area Senior Center.

Admission is free as is parking.

“Chelsea is a great place to live, work, and play, and this annual Expo event showcases all that we have to offer,” said Trinh Pifer, director of the Chelsea Area Senior Center, in a press release.

“Every year that we organize this event, we enjoy giving back to our community and learning something new about it,” she said.

There’s a free concert at 11 a.m. by the Chelsea House Orchestra, a popular local musical group playing Celtic music with a kick, which is sponsored by the Chelsea Community Hospital.

There’s a KidZone sponsored by SRSLY with fun and creative activities including face painting, make your own greeting card, and start your own seedling.

There’s also a lunch menu will also be available, so bring the family for a fun afternoon and enjoy all the great offerings.

At 1 p.m., a ribbon cutting ceremony is planned for the new Chelsea Volunteer Portal, which is designed to connect volunteers with non-profit organizations and groups in Chelsea.

The volunteer portal will support and enrich the community, Pifer said. There will be free refreshments, T-shirts, and the chance to learn how you can get involved.

This annual event draws more than 1,000 people from all age groups.

All exhibits are inside, so rain or shine, plan to meet your friends, bring your family and join the fun at the Washington Street Education Center at 500 Washington St.
