I had met a policeman a few days before this happened.
I was out in my very slippery icy driveway on a very wintery February Sunday morning, and a police car pulled up at the bottom of the driveway. The officer rolled down his window he asked if he could spread the salt around for me. I was very close to being finished so I declined and thanked him.
A few pleasant words and he was on his way.
This made me so happy and warmed my heart all day and beyond.
I did not get his name and wish I had.
