Chelsea Roofing uses the slogan “Honest. Reliable. Local.” The company was formed in 2022 with the goal that the community be able to count on them for all roofing and gutter needs.
Jake Bowman, who owns Chelsea Roofing with his wife Vickie Bowman, has worked in roofing for more than 10 years.
The company does not have a brick-and-mortar space.
“Jake and our crew come right to you,” said Vickie Bowman. “Jake is extremely knowledgeable and most importantly honest about what your home needs. He’s friendly, trustworthy, and reliable, and that’s what you need when you’re dealing with roofing or gutter issues.”
The Bowmans both graduated from Western Michigan University. Jake earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Sales and Business Marketing, and Vickie earned her degree in Art Education. She enjoys adding her creativity to the business and does the marketing and branding as well as handling administrative duties.
They moved to Chelsea in 2019.
“We always dreamed of moving to Chelsea,” said Vickie Bowman. “We knew the excellent school district, beautiful downtown, and incredible community was what we wanted for our family. After we made the move, our next big goal was to work for ourselves and build a roofing company for our family that can continue for generations to come.”
The couple has been pleased being able to call Chelsea home.
“Chelsea is the greatest community in America,” said Vickie Bowman. “We love the people, schools, food, and fellow small business owners here. That’s why we chose to raise our kids here. We are here to stay.”
