Community Foundation for SE MI Awards Chelsea $25,000 Grant for Park Design

The Community Foundation for Southeast Michigan recently announced that the City of Chelsea was awarded $25,000 for the design of Letts Linear Park as part of more than $17 million in grant awards.

In addition, the State of Michigan was awarded $10,000 to construct a nature play area and an accessible trail at the Eddy Discovery Center.

  1. This grant was inadvertently included in a general press release about grants. It should have been identified as a grant from the Chelsea Community Foundation, which is an affiliate of the Community Foundation for Southeast Michigan. We will have another release about this grant and an additional one as well shortly.
