This year’s show theme is One Voice: Back to Broadway featuring the music of some of Broadway’s biggest and best musical shows.

Tickets are now on sale at Chelsea Pharmacy or at the door.

In its 23rd year, the Company C troupe has been rehearsing since January for this show. Singers will be dressed in Broadway
theme costumes and hair styles performing songs from Hair, Newsies, Follies, Rock of Ages, and many more.

“This show is going to be very entertaining,” says Company C and CHS Director of Choirs Steve Hinz.

“In addition to the wonderful musical arrangements, the costumes and set designs will give the audiences a true feeling of being at a Broadway show,” he said.

About 55 students in Company C will be joined by members of Jr. C representing Beach Middle School and South Meadows School.

And, Lisa Hinz-Johnson is again coordinating all of the musical arrangements.

“These kids, especially the seniors, have worked so hard for this show,” says Hinz, adding, “We are so proud to be able to
perform again for the community.”

If you like the music of Broadway, you will love this show, she says.

Co. C is a group of choral students from Chelsea High who combine high-energy music and dance routines to entertain
audiences in Michigan and the Midwest.

Tickets are $10 for adults, $7 for students and senior citizens.

  1. I think the dates for the Company C concert are incorrect. Friday and Saturday, are May 16 and 17. The 18th is a Sunday.

    • The story you are reading is from last year’s concert, Mary. Stay tuned for a new story about this year’s concert coming soon.
