Cooking workshop: late summer garden classics

CCK-logo-smallOn Wednesday, Sept. 11 from noon-1:30 p.m., Chelsea Community Kitchen and the Chelsea Senior Center have teamed up for another fun cooking workshop.

“Late Summer Garden Classics” will feature recipes for Catalan gazpacho, ratatouille, pasta with fresh tomato-basil sauce and salade nicoise.

The class will be taught by Peter di Lorenzi and focus on ingredients growing in the Intergenerational Garden at the height of the harvest season.

Samples of each food prepared will be provided for tasting, and recipe cards will be made available.

The workshop is open to all ages.

To register, please call the senior center at 475-9242. A donation of $5 is suggested.
