In November 2015, Cub Scout Pack 435 gathered and donated food and items to send to an Army unit serving overseas in Kuwait.
As a sign of their appreciation for the packages, the Army unit presented the pack with a signed banner. The banner was framed and hung in South Meadows Elementary School last week, where it will be on display for six months. It will be moved to North Creek Elementary School to be on display for another six months.
