The Sylvan Township Board named David Seitz its Citizen of the Year on Tuesday night, Feb. 5.
Seitz began on the township’s Planning Commission in 2010, became its secretary in 2016 and then its chairman.
He was said to “run a very professional meeting and keeps things going and was very instrumental in the township’s Master Plan.”
Seitz was also credited for leading the development of the future for the township.
