Dear Editor:
So sorry to hear of the closing of Miss Vogel’s and Bob Foster’s clothing store.
I remember purchasing my varsity jacket (from our good neighbor on Claredale Court) Bob in 1957 as well as my first CHS Sweater before that.,
Of course Miss Vogel was always her friendly self in her store.
We were just in the store this past summer and as has been the case for all these many years, the hardwood floors were as squeaky as always and the drinking fountain was still in operation.
Great memories of my hometown.
