On Tuesday, Dec. 17 the Chelsea boys varsity basketball team dropped a game 46-42 to Pinckney.
“We struggled to score and our seniors were in foul trouble most of the night,” said coach Josh Tropea, who added, “We only shot 13 percent from the three-point line (2-15) and only scored in the single digits in the first and third quarters.”
Ross Stofflet led the Bulldogs in scoring with 23 points.
On Friday, Dec. 20, the Bulldogs bounced back with a 68-61 win.
“We started slow and we were losing 14-2 to start the game,” Tropea said, adding, “We came back to tie the game at 30-30 at halftime.”
Stofflet again led the Bulldogs with 35 points. Adam Hauser finished with 14 points and Owen Brown finished with 10 points.
