‘Digital Copyright: what does it mean to you?’ focus of library talk Saturday

In this time of questions about what can and can’t be used from the Internet, the Chelsea District Library is offering a presentation about the topic on Saturday, Sept. 22 from 1:30–3 p.m. in the McKune Room.

Melissa Levine, lead copyright officer at the University of Michigan, will lead participants in a discussion of digital copyright and what it means to you.

“Advancing technology and the Internet has brought us many new avenues to access resources and information, including published print, freeflow text, images, music, sound recordings, video and even film in digital media,” according to information from the library.

The discussion will focus on access and use of these types of content and information sources.
