Enjoy the Sandhill Crane festitivies that begin Oct. 6 through November

Look for cranes throughout downtown, too.

Here’s a reminder about all the crane events that will take place Oct. 6-7, but there’s lots more upcoming.

On Wednesday, Oct. 10, “Birds in Flight,” photographs of Sandhill Cranes with Bill Curtindale, a local photographer of birds in flight, which will be hosted by the Chelsea Senior Center. The free event takes place from 10-11 a.m.  at 512 Washington St.

On Oct. 13-14, the Michigan Audubon Society will present the 18th Annual Cranefest XVIII at 22300 15 Mile Road in Bellevue at the Kiwanis Youth Area. For more information, click here.

On Oct. 14, closer to home, is the Waterloo Farm Museum Pioneer Day from noon-5 p.m. at 13493 Waterloo Munith Road in Grass Lake. The fee is $5 for adults and $2 for children.
