Faith in Action to benefit from special fundraising dinner

Faith in Action will be one of three local groups to receive boxes of fall produce from Community Farm of Ann Arbor through benefit dinner at Cobblestone Farms on Sept. 13 from 6-9 p.m.

Catered by Zingerman’s Roadhouse and CFAA, the dinner will consist of four courses featuring locally sourced food and beverages. Plus, the event will have music provided by Curative Measures of Detroit, MI.

There will also be a silent auction with items such as a private house concert by San and Emily Slomovits (San is part of the local group Gemini), a week’s use of an Orlando condo, a 60-minute Personal Attunement session, several gift baskets, and more.  Many of the auction items are unique and one of a kind.

Tickets are $75, $150, and $200 and can be purchased through EventBrite. Go to the CFAA website for more info and the link for ticket purchases.

For more information or to make donations, contact CFAA at 734-433-0261 or send to P.O. Box 8353, Ann Arbor, MI, 48107-8353.

For every $1,000 raised at this dinner, about three boxes of fall harvest produce will be given to Faith in Action and two other organizations.

In addition, Community Farm of Ann Arbor, located at 1525 S. Fletcher Road, will be celebrating 25 years of operation at the benefit dinner.
