If you’ve been considering a Community Supported Agriculture share this year, mark Feb. 25 on your calendar to meet the local farmers.
The event will take place on Feb. 25 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at Agricole, 118 N. Main St.
CSA fairs are a model designed to help facilitate relationships between local farms and community members. CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture and is a model designed to mitigate inherent risks for the farmer and provide the highest quality and freshest produce to the consumer.
A CSA Fair is the perfect way for you to “speed date” to your farm share. Each model is a little different, so come on out to learn about our local producers.
Also mark your calendars for the upcoming pop-up farmers markets on Sundays at The Depot , 125 Jackson St. from 11-3:30 p.m. on Feb. 18, March 17 and April 14.
