On Feb. 8 at 7 p.m. at The Depot, the Evening Primrose Garden Club will host guest speaker Malorie Evens, owner of Honeybaby Homestead.
Evens grows a variety of flowers on her rural homestead in Manchester with a cut-flower yard revolving around an 1863 farmhouse. She creates and sells seasonal offerings of floral arrangements, nature driven designs, hand woven evergreen and everlasting wreaths, and dried and pressed flowers.
In addition, Evens creates naturally plastic-free gifts and decor. She will be giving a presentation about her gardening practices, offering words of wisdom regarding bringing in cut flowers from our gardens, sustainable minor-waste bouquet building, and more.
She has an online shop on Etsy as well as selling her wreaths and flowers at Agricole Farm Stop in Chelsea.
This event will be open to the public with a charge of $5/person for non-members.
