The Line at Which I Stopped Reading is a hilarious exploration of the world of online dating. Based on—and often quoted directly from—responses to the author’s dating profile, four actors take the audience through the wacky deal breakers Alexander encountered in their quest for a romantic relationship.
Director Denyse Clayton encourages women to BYOB and make the performance a “Galentine’s night out with girlfriends,” but stresses that the show may appeal to men, as well. “Everyone can relate to the humor and pathos inherent in the attempts by online daters to make a connection,” says Clayton.
