February is National Pet Dental Health Month

Did you know that lack of proper dental care can lead to heart, lung, liver and kidney disease in your canine and feline companions?

Just like humans, pets require routine dental care to keep their health in tip-top shape (fresh breath is just an added bonus).

February is Dental Health Awareness Month. To ensure your pet is getting the most comprehensive care possible, Lane Animal Hospital is offering several dental health month incentives.

To kick-start our specials, from now through the end of February, all pets are invited to receive a free dental exam with one of our highly trained, licensed veterinary technicians. Your technician will grade your pet’s dental health and offer customized suggestions to ensure your pet receives the dental care they need.

All pets that come in for a dental cleaning during the month of February will receive a dental health month discount of $20.19 off their total bill and will also get a complementary dental starter kit (includes a dental chew, tooth brush and tooth paste).

And, for the month of February only, all dental health products will be 10-percent off.

Finally, all pets with a dental cleaning scheduled during the month of February will be entered into a drawing to win a free one year supply of Heartworm, Intestinal Parasites, Flea and Tick Prevention valued at up to $330.60*.

Lane Animal Hospital wants to keep your pet’s pearly whites fresh and clean.

Priority booking for our February specials is now open; call 475-8696 to schedule your free dental health assessment today.

*canine patients will win 12 months of Sentinel Spectrum and 12 months of Effitix. Feline patients will receive 12 months of Revolution.

Dental Procedure Requirements:

Pets must be up to date on vaccinations, heartworm, intestinal parasite, flea and tick prevention, and must have a negative fecal within the last six months.

If your pet has not all had vaccinations or is past due, we may need to give 2 injections spaced 3-4 weeks apart. Please make sure to schedule an appointment now by calling 475-8696 to ensure that your pet will meet elective surgery requirements in February.
