The 7th grade gold basketball team finished its season losing to Dexter, 23-16. The kids played hard and showed a lot of growth this season.
The 7th grade blue team lost to Tecumseh last night. The team finished the season 2-10, but made huge strides and improved every game. I am proud of these kids and how well they treated each other all season, the coach said.
The 8th grade gold basketball team put together its best effort of the year to close the season with a 21-16 win over rival Dexter Wednesday night. It was a total team effort on both ends of the court. Cam Cooper reached double digits with 11 points, and Chris Roush added 6 points. Kyle Bell, Michael Barnes, Drew Anstead, Ben Kaemming, Ananth Ghosh, Andrew Klink, and Jack Bush contributed baskets for the Bulldawgs.
The 8th grade blue basketball team concluded the season with a 24-22 loss at Tecumseh. Ryan Mitchell led the scoring with 9 points. Alex Vasquez had 6 points while Hayden Wright and Matt McDaniels both added 5 points. Joe Wise played well defensively.
