The Washtenaw County Road Commission has delayed the milling and resurfacing of Freer Road between Old U.S. 12 Road and Trinkle Road in Lima Township. It is now expected to begin either Wednesday or Thursday.
The road will not be closed to traffic while work is ongoing. However, please be advised traffic delays will exist due to flagging operations to maintain two-way traffic.
An alternative route is advised if possible. Paving will be subject to weather conditions but is expected to take place the next day. Thus far, there is no firm date to add back the pavement markings.
