The Chelsea freshman football team played host to Lincoln on Thursday and won by a score of 35-0.
Cole Munson had two rushing touchdowns in the first half. Trevor Vosters ran one in for a score. Lucas Dunn threw a touchdown to Nick Fisk and Robbie Tyson had a long touchdown run to close the scoring in the first half.
There was no scoring in the second half.
Brandon Snyder had a big interception in the third quarter. Jayden Woody, Andrew Hilbert, Trevor Vosters, and Diego Medal all made numerous big plays on defense to help preserve the shutout.
“Lincoln was a little short-handed tonight, but I give our guys credit, too. The kids came out and played hard from the start,” said coach Dennis Strzyzewski. “We finally played a clean game as far as turnovers and we are starting to come along.”
