The Friends of the Chelsea District Library annual membership meeting will take place on Saturday, Feb. 9 from 10:30-11:30 a.m. in the McKune Room of the library.
The group will elect new board members, review the past year, and hear a presentation by Library Director Bill Harmer about the state of e-books in libraries.
There are several vacant positions on the board and nominations will be accepted from the floor.
All registered library volunteers are also friends, but you must be a dues-paying member to be eligible to vote.
Those interested can join the friends on the day of the meeting.
“The Friends of Chelsea District Library exemplifies this community’s strong volunteer spirit – join us, be a part of it, and feel good for doing good,” according to information about the event.
