The Chelsea High School freshmen football team lost to Lincoln by a score of 33-14.

Chelsea moved the ball pretty well, but six turnovers really hurt the offense.

Lincoln had two long kick returns that put Chelsea in a pretty big hole. Mason Meads and Thomas Shemwell each had a touchdown run for Chelsea. Auden Howard, Drake Booker, and Myles Bieber all played really strong games defensively.

“It was our first game as a freshmen team, and the kids seemed pretty nervous early on,” said coach Dennis Strzyzewski. “That kid from Lincoln, number 4, is pretty special. We had no answer for him. The kids are improving every day. We will get there.”
