Sunday, July 25, was a memorable day for garden lovers.
The Chelsea Area Garden Club presented its Arts in the Garden Benefit Walk through three gardens, and patrons had the day to experience them: the 2-acres garden on Joslin Lake with thousands of day lilies and perennials, Along the Fence lilies, and the Intergenerational Garden at the Chelsea Senior Center.
Visitors to the Intergenerational Garden also had the chance to see the Festival of Trellises, a fundraiser for the Chelsea Senior Center.
These were the top vote getters of the event: Chelsea District Library – Marilyn Kuehl, Chelsea Area Players – Clara Smith, Merrill Crockett & Rita Hermann, Janet Alford & Kathy Gunderson, and the Most Votes Winner Mary Tomac & Chris Browning.
