Volunteers from the Chelsea Senior Center recently hosted a preschool “Read and Seed” activity during which members of the senior center read gardening books to 140 local preschool students and helped them plant beans and peas for the hoop house.

This is one of the many activities the senior center coordinates with local youth to encourage healthy eating and fun with gardening.
