Girls tennis team wins Jackson County Invitational

The varsity girls tennis team took first place in the Jackson County Invitational on Saturday with a total of 26 points.

Coming in 2nd place was Parma Western with 32 points.

The girls won 6 out of 8 flights and took 2nd in the other one.

Winning for Chelsea was:
2 singles- Katie Lee
4 singles- Hannah Moore
1 doubles- Sarah Oberholtzer/Rachel Katz
2 doubles- Delaney Osbeck/Micayla Zynda
3 doubles- Jordan Jacobs/Sam Jabara
4 doubles- Genny Stubbs/Jacquelyn Barbour
Taking 2nd place was
1 singles- Laurel Hall
3 singles- EJ Lin
“The girls played great today, finally got a nice day of weather to play in and the girls took advantage,” Pedlow said.

No. 3 doubles is now 11-0 on the season, and No. 4 doubles is now 14-0.
