Gretchen Driskell

Your State Rep. Gretchen Driskell, D-52 of Saline, will be among the area State Representatives on a “listening tour” that takes place Monday, Feb. 25 beginning at 6 p.m. at the Washtenaw Intermediate School District (WISD) building.

Also expected to attend are Jeff Irwin, D-Ann Arbor, David Rutledge, D-Ypsilanti and Adam Zemke, D-Ann Arbor.

The group is holding the event to hear the concerns of local citizens, according to a press release that also states, “Republicans in Lansing have shut out the voices of the people over the last two years.”

According to the press release, “That’s why House Democrats are taking a Listening Tour, going into their districts to hear how Republican policies such as tax increases and education funding cuts have hurt average, hard-working Michiganders, and take those priorities back to the State Capitol.”

The WISD is located at 1819 S. Wagner Road.
