Halloween fun for everyone

The suggested Chelsea City Halloween trick-or-treat hours are 5:30-7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 31 but there’s so much more going on.

Downtown is the Chelsea Kiwanis Club’s annual Halloween Party and Costume Contest that will take place at Cole Funeral Chapel beginning at 5:30 p.m. Costume judging will be conducted by age groups, and begin at 5:30 p.m.

Cider and doughnuts will be served.

Everyone is invited to join in at the Cole Funeral Chapel parking lot on the corner of East Middle and East streets.

Then there’s Chelsea First United Methodist Church annual community Halloween party open house from 5-6:30 p.m.

Everyone is invited to Chelsea First UMC for snacks, crafts and games.

The church doors will be open from 5-6:30ish to warm up from the cold, eat some hot dogs, and have some fun.
