The Paint Chelsea Pink Committee will hold an important meeting on Friday, Sept. 21 at 8:30 a.m. at the fire station.

If you are a committee member, please try to attend with your updates.

The Chelsea Area Fire Authority firefighters are organizing this new event to benefit the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Mid-Michigan on Sept. 29 from 10 a.m.-6 p.m.

Pink Chelsea Pink is a city-wide, breast cancer benefit for the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Foundation of Mid-Michigan, which will take place Sept. 29 from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. throughout the city.

Passports for the event are $25 and are on sale now here as well as on the day of the event.

“Also plan to attend “The Pink Party,” which will take place after the event at Chelsea Lanes for those 21 years and older. There will be live music and cocktails.

The event is expected to bring thousands of people into town.
